I really dig this rye whiskey. On the nose there's caramel, vanilla, banana, a hint of mint, and a hint of something floral, almost a rose. On the palate, it's sweet, caramely, herbaceous, with a little pepper. That 20% malted barley adds a flavor note that reminds me a little of an Irish whiskey. Coming in at 50% ABV, it's great for sipping neat or enjoying it on the rocks. Goes great with a cigar as well. Priced just under $24 for a 750ml it's a must for one's whiskey collection.
